Coronel Tapiocca was founded in the late 1980s by Ricardo Beleta, a Barcelona-based interior designer with a passion for travel who couldn’t find suitable clothing for his getaways. Beleta launched the project, and shortly thereafter, Roberto Alcalde joined him.

A love of hiking, a passion for nature, and the trend of traveling to the most remote places have defined our brand since its inception. Coronel Tapiocca made its first forays into international markets in 1992, starting with Portugal and later expanding to France, Italy, and Belgium.

Nearly 30 years later, the brand has made a comeback stronger than ever, with a street style that leaves no one indifferent, while staying true to its roots as a brand for athletes and adventurers.
